MAN MATTERS
MAN MATTERS is a project that launched in 2022, aimed at delivering practical and emotional support to anyone over the age of 18 in Wakefield. The project has been developed by the Charity, GASPED.
Over the past year, we have listened and learnt from the many men that have accessed our service. Hence why we have a separate website, as we wished to create a platform for men where they could feel safe and find everything they needed about the services on offer at GASPED.
We offer a variety of services including: Person-centred Counselling, Coffee Groups and 1-2-1 Practical & Emotional Support. When referring in to our service we will conduct a telephone assessment, allowing us to fully understand your story and tailor a care plan to help you move forward.
MALE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE
We offer access to an IDVA, support group, 1-2-1 practical & emotional support and person-centred to anyone who identifies as male, is over the age of 18, lives in the Wakefield District and is a victim/survivor of domestic abuse.
