About Your Donations, Where & How They are used
By donating to the MAN MATTERS Project at GASPED, you will be helping support people in Wakefield District and West Yorkshire with their mental health challenges. Your money will go towards providing practical and emotional support to those in need, creating safe spaces for our clients, marketing opportunities that can help us to recieve further funding/donations and reach more potential clients, providing group attendees with special themed nights and away days.

The Whinney Moor Pub
The Whinney Moor Pub, Wakefield, held a fundraiser for our MAN MATTERS Project on Saturday 27th July 2024. The day ranged from an auction, to tombola, to 12 hours of pool to raffles to selling MM Merch and raising awareness. They managed to raise an amazing £1837.93 in just one day. We really appreciate this and these funds will be put straight back into providing more service.

Ey Up Ben
Ey Up Ben approached us in July 2024, expressing their interest in fundraising for our MAN MATTERS Project. On Saturday 14th September 2024, they took on the Fan Dance Challenge in Wales. They raised an amazing £3,210. We really appreciate this and these funds will be put straight back into providing more service.

Rugby Slant – Mase
Mase fundraised for us by challenging himself to a 365 Day Ice Bath Challenge, throughout 2024, into 2025. Mase documented his journey daily on his social media and also shares our content on his page. Mase raised an amazing £325 and encouraged people to step out their comfort zone along the way.

The Redbout Pub, Wakefield, held a fundraiser for our MAN MATTERS Project on Saturday 25th January. The day ranged from an sponsored leg wax, to football cards, to selling MM Wristbands and raising awareness. They managed to raise an amazing £496.35 in just one day. We really appreciate this and these funds will be put straight back into providing more service

Slazenger Sports Club
Slazenger Sports Club in Wakefield, held a raffle and auction for our MAN MATTERS Project on Sunday 13th April 2025 in celebration of their open day. They managed to raise an amazing £307 just through raffle tickets and auctioning a signed photograph from a Leeds Rhinos player. We really appreciate this and these funds will be put straight back into providing more service and making safe spaces for men.

The Lupset Pub
On Sunday 4th May 202, The Lupset Pub in Wakefield held a memorial day for local lad, Matthew Pape who sadly took his own life. They sold USB’s with a setlist of all Matty’s favourite songs and doanted the profits between ourselves and another charity. They managed to raise an amazing… We really appreciate this and these funds will be put straight back into providing more service and making safe spaces for men.
